Experts estimate that 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday. This interactive training provides participants with 5 steps to better protect children from sexual abuse. It gives adults tools for recognizing the signs of sexual abuse and responding to suspicious behavior. The course gives simple ways to minimize opportunities for abuse in organizations and in our community.
This is a 2 hour training to help parents and caregivers become aware of the dangers that exist online. Participants learn tips on how to talk to children about using the Internet safely and steps families can take to better protect their children online.
This training focuses on teaching adults what is developmentally appropriate sexual behavior for children 2-7 years old. Participants learn how to talk to their children about their bodies (including healthy body boundaries) and how to identify and respond appropriately to various sexual behaviors displayed by children.
