Shelly Smith 

Executive Director

Shelly holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and has worked for non-profits in Seattle for over 20 years mainly focused on child and family services. She moved to Bend to join KIDS Center in 2008 and currently is the chair of the Deschutes County Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT), and was recently elected vice-chair of the Oregon Network of Child Abuse Intervention Centers.

Dr. Deanna St. Germain, D.O.

Medical Director

Deanna is a family physician specializing in child abuse medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She came to the KIDS Center in January of 2009 leaving southern Illinois where she was an Asst. Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Practice and was also the Medical Director of the Children’s Medical Resource Network. She has presented at the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children’s national symposium for the last three years.

Ginny Haarberg

Finance Director

Ginny has worked in non-profit accounting for almost 20 years, prior to that she was part owner/operator of small businesses. She moved to Bend in 1992 and has been part of KIDS Center since 2007.

Robin Antonson

Development Director

Robin has a Masters in Human Resources and Organizational Development. She previously worked in Human Resources before joining the non profit sector 8 years ago at the High Desert Museum. She joined KIDS Center in 2010 and oversees our fundraising efforts including major gifts, grants and beneficiary events.
