This brand-new training was developed with the help of Protect Our Children, Oregon’s state-wide initiative to prevent child sexual abuse. Connect to Protect Kids empowers adults to protect children and prevent child sexual abuse and other types of interpersonal harm.

KIDS Center participated in the development of this training’s curriculum, which is flexible and adaptable to your family, community and culture. This two-hour training teaches proactive skills with a focus on:

  • Reducing risks for children

  • Preventing abuse

  • Fostering healthy relationships

  • Teaching bystander intervention

  • Building connected, protective communities that prioritize child safety
