FOR COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Mobile Clinic FAQs

How often will the mobile clinic come to my county?
For our pilot phase (April-September 2026), the clinic will be on the road once a week, traveling out on Thurdsays (with limited opportunities for additional travel days). Initially, the clinic will not have a set schedule for visiting specific counties. The clinic will travel to communities with the highest-priority cases.
How do I refer a family to the mobile clinic?
The referral process is the same as referring a family to KIDS Center’s facility in Bend. Start by contacting our Intake Team. During our pilot phase, we can not guarantee the mobile clinic as an option for every family. Please do not mention the clinic as an option for families. We will offer the clinic to families when possible.
How are families prioritized for the mobile clinic?
Several factors will determine whether a family can be served by our clinic. Partners can help us identify priority situations by providing information such as:
—Does the family live 2 or more hours from Bend?
—Does the family lack reliable transportation?
—Are caregivers unable to take a day of sick leave/vacation leave from work?
—Does the family have other barriers preventing them from coming to Bend?
—Are community partners unable to attend the child abuse evaluation in Bend?
—Are there other urgent or special circumstances (such as a pending court date, transfer of custody, etc.)?
Who do I contact if a family or partner cannot meet the clinic at their scheduled time?
